This Privacy Policy explains how Fantasy HQ ("we", "us", "myfantasyhq.com") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Fantasy HQ:
- Account information: email address, display name, and authentication tokens when you create an account or sign in via Google.
- League data: when you connect a fantasy football league (e.g., Sleeper), we store your league ID, roster, and league settings to provide personalized analysis. We never store your platform passwords.
- Usage analytics: anonymous information about how you use the site (pages visited, features used, device type) via Google Analytics. We do not associate this with personal identity unless you've signed in.
- Subscription information: if you subscribe to a paid tier, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your payment details. We receive only your subscription status and tier — never your full card number.
- Cookies: we use cookies and localStorage to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and improve performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide personalized fantasy football analysis (trade values, team grades, draft assistance).
- To send you account-related emails (welcome, weekly report, password resets).
- To improve the site (which features are used, where bugs occur).
- To process subscriptions and provide premium tier access.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the site:
- Google Firebase: stores your account and league data (Firestore), handles authentication.
- Stripe: processes subscription payments.
- Resend: sends you emails on our behalf.
- Sleeper / FantasyCalc / FantasyPros: public APIs we query to display NFL data and consensus rankings. We do not send any of your personal data to these services.
- Google Analytics: aggregated, anonymized usage statistics only.
4. Your Choices
- Email opt-out: every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also email us anytime to be removed.
- Account deletion: open Account Settings on the site and click "Delete Account", or email us at myfantasyhq@gmail.com. We will remove your account and connected league data within 30 days.
- Cookie controls: you can clear cookies from your browser settings at any time. The site will still work; you'll just need to sign in again.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and league data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained longer for trend analysis.
6. Children's Privacy
Fantasy HQ is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit. Firebase and Stripe handle data at rest with their own enterprise-grade security. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions.
8. International Users
Fantasy HQ is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify users of material changes via email or a site-wide notice.
